The Spanish Family was created with one simple mission: to share the love of the Spanish language and culture with others. My name is Carmen, and together with my husband and daughter, our family has always embraced life with passion. Our love for Spanish—both the language and the rich culture behind it—inspired us to open this company.
At the heart of The Spanish Family is one of the most important values of all: family. We believe that language brings people together, strengthens bonds, and opens doors to new connections and opportunities.
With a strong background in education and over eight years of experience as a school director, I felt called to create something that would allow me to teach from the heart. Spanish is not only a subject I teach—it is part of who I am. I grew up with Spanish as my primary language, and it has shaped my identity, my family, and the way I see the world.
We believe learning Spanish is more than just memorizing words—it’s about immersing in the language, experiencing the culture, and building skills that will benefit students for a lifetime. Studies have shown that bilingual children often develop stronger problem-solving abilities, greater cultural awareness, and improved communication skills. Our goal is to provide students with these lifelong benefits while fostering a genuine love for the Spanish language.
